…is the theme of the new challenge on the CCC blog. and I absolutely knew that I would have to use my wood veneer stars in this context. I found them in a local craft store, which has a surprisingly high selection of wood veneers what I’d have never expected for Graz 🙂
I wanted to use this color combination for my scrapbook layout and I also wanted to style it vintage. So I chose the colors Pistachio Pudding, Certainly Celery (what a fun name *g*), Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant and Summer Starfruit. and of course some gold. I cut 10 project life cards, each 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 inch and 2 of each color and randomly prepared them with some chosen embossing folders and my distress tool. In the end I applied the stars and also some punched out hearts and some of the gold vellum.
For this layout I used:
- Cardstock in Pistachio Pudding, Certainly Celery, Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant and Summer Starfruit
- 1“ Circle punch
- Small heart punch
- Distress tool
- Gold vellum
- Golden baker’s twine
- BigShot
- Chevron, Distressed Dots and Stripes Embossing folder
- Dimensionals
