Today’s card challenge over on the CCC Blog entitled us to use some sort of masks. I didn’t think long about it because I knew I had to use the star mask from the star and heart mask set in the annual catalogue.
I already did that kind of masking once before with another star mask and it turned out wonderful, so I reused my idea to work with light molding paste (you could also mix it with reinkers or glitter). This technique embellishes the starts unregularly and looks oh so beautiful, especially on craft paper.
I combined the stars with silver glitter stars from the new star border punch. I also punched a label and used a sentiment from the new Project Life stamp set from the winter catalogue. Some Washi Tape and silver twine lead the focus to the cherry cobble linen ribbon.
